Thursday 27th April : The end!
The HERMINE expedition has ended. The Pourquoi Pas? arrived in Punta Delgada in the Azores on Thursday 27th April. The traditional crew photograph was not able to be taken due to heavy rain.
The crew will now join their respective laboratories to begin the work of data extraction which will probably last several months if not years before being scientifically published in order to share the results with the national and international community.
A big thank you to all the scientific teams on-board and on-land for their work and their willingness to animate this blog and share their research.
Thanks also go to the commanding officer and the crew of the Pourquoi Pas? without whom neither the expedition nor the blog would have taken place.
